UFC 5 Update Introduces New Fighters
11 New Fighters Added to UFC 5 Roster
The latest update for EA Sports' UFC 5 video game has been released, bringing with it a significant roster expansion. This update, known as update 1.008, adds 11 new fighters to the game, including Michael Venom Page and six other fighters who are yet to be revealed.
New Fighters Added in April Update
The first batch of new fighters will be added to UFC 5 on April 4th, ahead of the UFC 300 pay-per-view event. These fighters include:
- Matheus Nicolau (Flyweight)
- Virna Jandiroba (Women's Strawweight)
- Manel Kape (Flyweight)
- Natalia Christina da Silva (Women's Featherweight)
Additional Fighters Coming in May and June
EA Sports has also announced that additional fighters will be added to UFC 5 in May and June. The names of these fighters have not yet been revealed, but they are expected to include some of the most popular fighters in the UFC today.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
In addition to the new fighters, update 1.008 also includes a number of bug fixes and improvements. These include:
- Fixed a rare tracking issue against head movement that distorted the strike trajectory and could lead to unfair hits.
- Addressed an issue where the game could crash when loading into a fight.
- Improved matchmaking logic to provide more fair and competitive matches.
