Traffic congestion on Bundesstraße 2 in Leipzig

Due to an accident on Bundesstraße 2 in Leipzig, there is currently a traffic jam in the direction of Schkeuditzer Kreuz. The accident occurred at around 10:30 am between the Leipzig-Ost and Leipzig-Messe exits. According to initial information, two cars were involved in the accident. One person was injured and taken to a hospital.

Recovery and traffic jam

The recovery work is currently underway. The left lane is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted via the right lane. There are currently delays of around 30 minutes. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. The police are on site and are directing traffic.
